The metal construction of the stylus feels sturdy, not cheap at all, and is a good option for people who find the original stylus included with the Nintendo DS too short to comfortably hold. The original is about 3.5" long, and this version extends to almost 4.75". While not greatly larger, even a small extension helps the stylus to feel comfortable and easy to hold for longer periods of time. Recommended for people with larger hands or those who find the smaller stylus cramped and difficult to use.
