Rating: - Defective Cartridge?
Well the game itself is tons of fun and if you liked other harvest moon games, you're sure to like this one too... HOWEVER I don't know if I received a defective cartridge or what, but my saved game keeps randomly disappearing. After the 3rd time I turned on the DS and had only "New Game" available, I just threw it away.

I have never before played Harvest Moon, so I cannot compare it to any of the others.
A friend recommended I try Harvest Moon, so I picked this one because a) it's on DS and b) the main character is a girl.
It is very fun and addicting! I am not even sure what makes it so addicting. I love raising the animals on my farm, and I definitely like flirting with the boys! I'm not sure yet if it has a storyline.. but it does have random events and scenes that are triggered depending on your relationship with certain individuals in the game.
I'd recommend this to older "kids" and little kids too.
I give it an 8/10 because it's a good game, but there's always something better.

Almost all of the Harvest Moon games impress me most of all the games
I play. "Island of Happiness" was another excellent Harvest Moon game
that continues to astound me. I especially love the games where they
let you choose to either be a boy or a girl, and all that crop-growing
and cow-milking for some strange reason is fun. Great job again, to
the makers of Harvest Moon!

Fun, addicting, great gift, almost no gliches, and can play as a burnett or blond! What more can I say!? I know, ITS WORTH THE MONEY!
Rating: - fun and frustrating
first, I am 15 and this game is loads of fun for me now that I can be a girl. Although it is so much fun, the whole game frustrates me because it takes so long to get married, and I hate it. But if you are looking for a LONG farming game than this will be your favorite.
