Rating: - Too easy for adults, too hard for kids
I bought this game after reading the previous review--thinking it would be great for my young daughters (6 and 8) since it's so easily beaten. Well, it really isn't all that easy for kids. It took me awhile to get the hang of it as well, although it still only took me 1 day to beat the whole thing. The graphics are neat but you have no time to look at them and enjoy them, since you have to hurry, hurry, hurry. I guess I don't like timed games--Garfield has to constantly eat or he falls asleep and then you have to use Odie to find an alarm clock to wake him. If you can't do it quickly, you have to restart. The gameplay feels awkward and clunky--sometimes you just fall off platforms for no reason, or it's like Odie gets in the way and makes it hard to jump accurately. Annoying. Yes, I beat the game, but I wouldn't say I had fun doing it. At least now that it's beaten, all the levels are unlocked and my daughters can choose any one they want to play, any time. If you have Garfield fans at your house, get Garfield's Nightmare for DS--it's a blast and so worth the money!
Rating: - No!! Just stop now!!
You do NOT want to buy this game. The length of the game is just crazy!! It took me 35 minutes to beat the whole game. If you want an insanely easy, piece of cake short game, then this is for you. The gameplay that is there is fun and the colors and graphics are rich but that still does NOT make up for the very short game play. The only way I would pick up this game is if it cost $5. It's not worth anymore then that. This is by far a RENTAL.
