Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Not what it seems........
It was fun enough (as said before not like the sims, which I am an avid fan of) but I finished it in two hours at work. Once you are down with the story it is free play (not like the sims) and it is quite boring.

All in all save your money and buy this game used or when the price drops if you even bother at all.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Miami Nights Falls Flat.
I was excited to play Miami Nights DS when I bought it but after playing it for about 5 minutes, my excitement turned to disappointment. The game's description makes it seem as if the gameplay is similar to the Sims but in reality, the gameplay is nothing like it. Sure, you can choose out of three careers (singer, actor, model) but the story is pretty much the same for both genders and for all careers. On top of that, I finished the game within 2 hours of starting it.

Basically, if you're looking for a worthwhile game, save your money for something other than Miami Nights DS.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - VERY SIMLIKE
This game I think would appeal to anyone who loved the game "The Sims" on DS and GBA. It appeared to be an exact clone which is not a bad thing. However, it is a lot different than I origonally thought it was going to be. I was thinking it would be more like an RPG.

What the game does have is interesting people to meet and fun minigames to play. The minigames are a challenge but are fun with a good deal of variety too.

The graphics are about average for the Nintendo DS but are colorful and the framerate is good. So, overall it is a very good game if you are a SIMS fan and are looking for more portable fun on the DS. The SIMS 2 Castaway on the Nintendo DS is very similar except that I actually liked this one better - there is more to do.
