Product Description:
Keep your hands steady and your mind focused for Trauma Center: New Blood, sequel to Trauma Center: Second Opinion. This time around there's a lot more on the line. Every cut of the scalpel, every pinch of the forceps, each and every second that ticks by is of the absolute greatest importance. If you think it's too much to handle alone, invite a friend to assist with the operation and work together to save patients from flat lining. The adrenaline is pumping, lives are at stake, and only you can save the day. Have you got what it takes?
At a remote hospital in Alaska, Dr. Markus Vaughn, a surgeon who has forsaken the politics and power struggles of his former ward, quietly toils. He is content to use the power he has discovered within himself, the Healing Touch, to positively affect the lives of those in need. His partner is Valerie Blaylock, a promising young doctor eager to unlock her own dormant abilities.
When the facility unexpectedly closes, they are forced to return to Concordia Medical Institute, where politics are more important than patient's lives, and doctors more concerned with image than their ministration. There they are recruited into the government organization Caduceus, where they will learn of a conspiracy with dire ramifications, and their lives will be changed forever.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Cool game
This is a cook game, even if you aren't interested in medicine. It keeps you involved. My only problem with it is that the characters dont speak english, they speak this weird muted language with captions. Still a fun game.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Pretty good
Overall, this game is a lot of fun. The surgeries can get quite intense especially when playing with another person. I've only played the first 10 surgeries or so, and they were all quite different even though you're using the same techniques. One annoying thing is all the background stories. You can't really skip through them the first time you see them. If this is the first in this series that you play (like me) you will be confused by the stories anyways, so it is somewhat annoying. After the first time in a surgery, you can then skip the stories.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Boring!
We borrowed this game from a friend for the night - glad we did that before we bought it! My husband and I both thought it was about the most boring game ever!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Trauma Center
I would consider this a two player game. You can do it with one player, but you will find your chance of success greater if you have the additional help further along in the game. My daughter and I enjoy playing this game quite a bit.Trauma Center: New Blood

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Addictively fun!
I purchased this game on a whim because it was on sale. It was a lot of fun to play -- although very addictive. I actually spent hours on the Wii playing this game. Thankfully it came on a Friday when I had time to actually play.

I agree with many of the reviews that it was difficult at times -- however it was never impossible. I had to replay a few of the operations a few times, but eventually I was able to complete the entire game on my own. It is definitely much easier (and more fun) to play with a friend.

My only complaints would be that it seemed so short and the story was so tedious. Also, I wish there were more of the (and I say this loosely) "realistic" operations. I enjoyed treating shot-gun wounds or liver transplants, more than blasting viruses with a laser. If the developers had built in a way to bypass the story/dialogue then they would have greatly improved their game.

Still, this was a great little game and recommended for those who would like to take advantage of the Wii's controllers.
