This is the greatest game ever! My son, my nephews, and my husband,
love to play. The shipping on the item was very quick. It was packaged
well, and the price was great, too.
Rating: - Good game but problems w/ guitar
The game is what you expect from the Guitar Hero series. Tracks are good but the difficulty levels are skewed towards more veteran players. The only problem I have is with the guitar itself. It handles okay with exception to activating the star power. Activation happens for no reason. Other times, when you need it, the guitar doesnt respond. Gets to be annoying. In short, good game, mediocre guitar.
Rating: - For children???
We purchased this for our 8 year old son for Christmas. I guess that I just assumed that it would be appropriate. I always look at the ratings of his xbox games and he is not allowed to play T rated but this was purchased by my husband and we both thought that it would be alot of fun and just quite simply did not see the rating. Most levels were fine....we did notice some background shots that were not really appropriate. But when we got to level 8 and the band is signing their souls away that is when I was bothered. Most of the songs on that level are talking about hell and the devil so we decided that we would take it to the game shop and trade it for something else. This was our first GH experience. I am hoping that the different versions are not like this one. We have had a blast playing this game and I hate it that we will not finish it out. Our son does not lead a sheltered life, believe me, but I think that the more stuff I can keep out of his head at this very impressionable age, the better off he will be. Just a warning for those of you who care what your kids are exposed to.

I'm used to Rockband controls and gameplay, but both are very similar. The differences are mostly how the game is presented and options. This game is fun for everyone to enjoy.
