Rating: - Not like it used to be...
It's a fun game, but is not as fun as Catz 5. The one thing that I do not like about this game is that you cannot play with more than one cat at a time, therefore making litterz of kittens (like in Catz 5) impossible. (This is just what I have experienced - for all I know, there is a way to do this but I just have not figured it out yet.) One of the things that was really nice about Catz 5 was being able to see your catz interact with each other.
The graphics are really good, and the goal system is nice because it gives you direction on what to do. But sometimes the goals are annoying because you cannot just relax and have fun; you feel like you HAVE to tend to them right away.
Like everything these days, it is just "not like it used to be". I am 15, and although that may seem a bit old for this type of game, I am in love with cats and love everything about them. So, you could say I am pretty easy to please if something involves cats. :) I remember playing Catz 5 when I was younger, and the unique-ness of Catz 5 is not present in Petz Catz 2; it simply looks and operates like every other video game out there. I would definitely recommend Catz 5 over this version of the game.
