Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Too Easy.
This is, by far, my favorite DS game so far, but it's too easy. I beat all challengers in just one day, except for the chairman of course, whom I have failed to still not beat yet.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Not Much Fun
If you want a fun cooking game DO NOT buy Iron Chef America. This is one of the most repetitive and boring cooking games I've ever played. I rank it at the bottom of the cooking game genre.

It seems like every dish has the exact same steps. If you've completed one dish, you've completed them all. There's no variety. And there's no explanation as to how the judges make their decision. They just either like a dish or hate it. How do they make their decision? Who knows. There's no logic to it at all.

Then when you finish cooking, you have to plate your dishes. But this seems to have no effect at all on your score. It's just another pointless part of the game.

This game is a big disappointment. It received 2 stars because of the good graphics. Too bad the developers put more care into the graphics than into gameplay.

I enjoy the original Iron Chef, and hoped this game would live up to its name. But no. I should have left this one where it was. It was fun for about 30 minutes, but then I realized it was a waste of money. I collect Nintendo DS cooking games, but this one is getting traded-in at Gamestop.

I repeat: If you want a fun cooking game DO NOT buy Iron Chef America.
