Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Brave story: a solid JRPG
The title for the review says it all. It is a turn-based Japanese role-playing game that takes the battle system from old RPGs and spices it up (a little). The story and characters can be somewhat childish at times, but the game is rated everyone. (what did you expect?) The dialogue is excellent. Although some character models may look the same, the dialogue manages to separate them fairly well. The only downside would be that the game is fairly easy. Puzzles are very simple, and the bosses can most often be beat on first encounter. Saves and life replenishers are placed before every boss or difficult area, and the towns can be somewhat linear. Other than that, a few cool side quests or optional, rewarding activities keep the game unique. Simply put, if you like games like Final Fantasy or other JRPGs, then give Brave Story a go.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - JRPG Brand JRPG
This is a beautiful game that will scratch the JRPG itch for folks waiting for their next Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest. Good animation, decent story, fun crafting system - nothing new here, but nothing bad either.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Best Game So Far
My Dad ordered tis game for me.Let me tell you this is the best RPG game I've ever played. It has really good graphics to.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Old School RPG
This game is really fun. The graphics are excellent, so much detail for each monster. The characters also change a little with new weapons. There are few side missions that are okay. The game is easy once you level up your character but almost any RPG is when your at level 100. I actually stopped playing Crisis Core to start playing this game and I don't regret it at all.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good game
This is the first game I purchased with my new PSP (I love RPGS). I enjoy the turn-based battle system, this is my style. The graphics are great. The battles aren't too hard and then random attacks are great when traveling. However, I hate the forever long cut scenes and all the talking. Now I know RPGs and they have to have these to make the game good, but you can't skip them, you have to sit through them all and the talking. I also have found that the characters talking is getting annoying. For example the special/combined moves are fantastic but do they have to say the same thing everytime. This can be cured by turning down the volume, which I don't want to do. All in all this is a great game and I'm enjoying it, but I'll also be glad when I've beat it. I wouldn't play it a second time just because of the annoying factors mentioned above.
