Amazon.com:
The Star Wars saga will continue in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, a videogame developed by LucasArts, which casts players as Darth Vader's "Secret Apprentice" and promises to unveil new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy. The expansive story, created under direction from George Lucas, is set during the largely unexplored era between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. In it, players will assist the iconic villain in his quest to rid the universe of Jedi - and face decisions that could change the course of their destiny.

As its name implies, The Force Unleashed completely re-imagines the scope and scale of the Force by taking full advantage of newly developed technologies that will be seen and experienced for the first time: Digital Molecular Matter (DMM), by Pixelux Entertainment, and euphoria by NaturalMotion Ltd. Paired with the powerful Havok Physics™ system, these new technologies create gameplay only possible on the new generation of consoles. DMM incorporates the physical properties of anything in the environment so that everything reacts exactly like it should - wood breaks like wood, glass shatters like glass, plants on the planet Felucia bend like plants on the planet Felucia would, and more. Meanwhile, as a revolutionary behavioral-simulation engine, euphoria enables interactive characters to move, act and even think like actual human beings, adapting their behavior on the fly and resulting in a different payoff every single time.

The New Technology of The Force Unleashed
With The Force Unleashed, LucasArts not only introduces a new chapter in the Star Wars saga, but also two completely new and innovative technologies -- Digital Molecular Matter by Pixelux Entertainment and euphoria by NaturalMotion Ltd. These groundbreaking technologies combine with Havoc physics to create true next-gen gameplay and the Force like it's never been seen or experienced before.

Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great game, short campaign
The campaign may not be that long but the amount of things you can unlock makes up for it. You can play it over and over until you have beaten all difficulties and unlocked everything and then you will pretty much never take it out again unless you are mad and want to take it out on something like a couple of unlucky stormtroopers.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Awesome game with a few flaws.
I cannot deny that this game has some issues, but when you actually get into it and enjoy the game, its an awesome experience.

From the moment you start playing, you can feel awesome power and almost limit-less opportunities to dispose of your enemies.

Don't overlook this title because someone else told to do so. Check it out and find out that its a really fun experience that will consume you!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Another SW game that fails to deliver
The problem with this game is it doesn't have any polish to it. If you play the first level you have played all of the other levels. It tries to imitate god of war and doesn't even come close in any of the elements. How come there is a loading screen just to move around the menu? That is ridiculous. This game was pushed back a year from its original release date and I expected a lot more polished game because of it and we get a tech demo game with SW skins on top of it. The positives about this game were the background level art is amazing and using some of the force powers are fun (how come you can't move when using force grip? It makes no sense you just sit there and get blasted). Overall I was disappointed and would not recommend this game for more than a rental.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Feel the force! Very theatrical.
Great game. Probably more appropriate for teen gamers than adults, but still lots of fun. Very theatrical. Almost like watching a missing film in the series. They definitely spent a lot on the cut scenes, and they look great. Gaming action is fun, but a bit of a button masher. Not a whole lot of strategy. Scored this one for $30. Wouldn't pay more.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great for star wars lovers and gamers
Great game. Challenging and very entertaining. I recommend reading some of the on-line material about the game before playing it, where you can find great hints about force upgrades...etc. Star wars fans will love this game. I tried the Jedi Temple add-on on this game, which can be downloaded from the Marketplace using an XBOX LIVE account, I loved it so much.
